What is SEPAC?
SEPAC is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state law assigns both an advisory and participatory function to SEPACs. Membership is offered to all parents and guardians of children with (dis)abilities and other interested parties.
Who can join Sharon SEPAC (SSEPAC)?
Parents and guardians of Sharon students who are struggling in school OR receiving special education services are encouraged to become involved in SSEPAC. Participation is also open to teachers, service providers, students studying special education, and families from other towns.
