I’m the President of Sharon SEPAC and a parent of a child on an IEP in the district. I’m passionate about building an inclusive, supportive community for kids with special needs and care deeply about mental health and wellbeing. I look forward to working with families, teachers, and schools to help every child thrive. Professionally, I bring experience in healthcare management, with a focus on mental health.

I’m a Sharon parent with an elementary school-aged daughter on an IEP at Heights. I’ve worked as a psychiatric nurse for over 20 years in both inpatient and residential mental health settings. My experiences—both as a parent and a professional—have fueled my passion for supporting kids with diverse learning needs. I care deeply about building strong partnerships between families and schools, so every child in our community can get the support and education they deserve.

I have worked in Higher Education and Nonprofit Leadership for over twenty years. My passion is building awareness around learning differences, environmentalism, and the arts.  I love developing strong communications outlets and connection points that build community around shared passions. I am a mom on the journey of neurodivergence with loved ones. I struggle with labels and most language around learning differences.  However, as a sister, aunt and mom to loved ones on differing learning paths, I am a passionate advocate, researcher, student, and teacher.  My journey in this topic across time and in independent school systems and public school systems has created an opportunity to deepen my research, interest and skills as an educator and creator of access points across such a breadth of conversations.
